As our team continues to grow, we are now seeking a 1st Line IT Support specialist to assist with a variety of tasks!
Montel has an important role in the green transition, we do this by supporting companies with key decision-making tools, covering the rapidly changing energy markets. Customers of Montel are big energy consumers, energy producers, regulators, traders, consultants, authorities, media, and others.
🫡 What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant IT/Technical education, must have experience with technical support.
- Can demonstrate a good understanding of IT infrastructure and general support systems, such as Office 365 and Teams.
- Has strong collaboration skills and wants to contribute to a positive and efficient work culture.
- Takes initiative and is proactive.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English.
📝A typical day will include:
- 1st-line support, ensuring quick and effective responses to all IT-related inquiries.
- Handling tools such as Office 365, Teams, and our business applications.
- Set up and preparation of PCs and laptops.
- Managing mobile phones and subscriptions.
- Purchasing IT equipment.
- Support for meeting room solutions.
While this IT Support role primarily requires an in-office presence to provide hands-on assistance, there are opportunities for remote work from time to time.
